COLUMBUS - The Ohio State men's basketball non-league schedule is again loaded. Unfortunately fans won't be seeing those blue chip matchups in the Schottenstein Center.

飞艇计划app开奖The Buckeyes released much of their 2021-22 non-conference schedule Tuesday with the headliner being a trip to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving break for the high-profile Battle 4 Atlantis.

Also making the trip to Paradise Island from Nov. 25 to 27 will be Creighton, Duke, Memphis, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Wichita State and Utah, so Ohio State will be getting three high-caliber opponents in the span of three days.

飞艇计划app开奖The CBS Sports Classic will be Saturday, Dec. 19 at a site to be determined. The Buckeyes will face North Carolina a year after blasting the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Speaking of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, it will likely be in early December. That game could be in Columbus, but a date and opponent haven't been determined.

The home-and-home season openers with Cincinnati ran their course — at least for this year — as Ohio State needed to make room in its schedule for trip to the Bahamas.

飞艇计划app开奖The Gavitt Games with a Big East opponent are also not on the OSU schedule for 2020-21. Ohio State hosted Villanova last year and traveled to Creighton the season before in Gavitt Games with the Buckeyes winning both.

飞艇计划app开奖Games set for Columbus include an exhibition on Thursday, Nov. 5 against an opponent to be determined, and the season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 11 against Oakland.

飞艇计划app开奖The Buckeyes will face former Ohio State assistant coach Greg Paulus when he brings his Niagara squad to the Schott on Sunday, Nov. 19.

There will be a reunion on Thursday, Nov. 19 when Akron comes to Columbus. Former OSU assistant John Groce is the head coach of the Zips, and Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann spent two years on Groce's staff when he was at Ohio University. Both are graduates of Taylor University.

Ohio State will play two Big Ten games in early December, one home and one away, against opponents to be named later. Sandwiched in-between those games will be a home date with Towson.

Morehead State on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Alabama A&M on Wednesday, Dec. 30 round out the non-league portion of the schedule. Both are set for Columbus.

Including Big Ten games, the Buckeyes will play 16 times on campus next season.

The Big Ten Tournament goes to Chicago's United Center March 10 to 14 before returning to Indianapolis the following season.

Games times and TV broadcast schedules will be determined later. The Big Ten will also release its schedule later this summer.
